Lavagna, located at 539 8th St. SE, in the heart of Barracks Row started a great new promotion this year called the Wednesday “Charity Dine Out” program. Each month Lavagna features a different local charity, and every Wednesday of the month, 10% of all proceeds to toward that charity. So far Lavagna has worked with amazing organizations such as Girls Rock! DC, Living Classrooms, NSC Partners, Lift DC and May’s Charity will be CHAW!
It’s Lavagna’s way of giving back to DC after 5 great years that have including winning Best Of DC for Italian Food 2015 & 2016! Part of what makes Lavagna stand out is their completely scratch kitchen. Everything is made in house, including the pastas (even gluten free pasta)!
