We usually try to bring you Hill-based events, but when a friend asks, there is no tomorrow (okay, there’s like last-minutish): THIH former contributor and friend Tim Ebner wants you all to support Northeast Eats this Saturday, April 9. Northeast Eats is a great event of food and beer happening from 4-8 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Washington Jesuit Academy, a tuition-free middle school for boys from the District’s low-income neighborhoods.
Your $50 ticket gets you the following bites and sips from local places (#omnomnom):
- Brookland’s Finest
- Brookland Pint
- Boundary Stone
- El Camino
- Smith Public Trust
- DC Brau Brewing Company
- 3 Stars Brewing Company
- Hellbender Brewing Company
- Right Proper Brewing Company
- Atlas Brew Works
- Bluejacket
- Whisked
- One Eight Distillery
- Union Kitchen
- Mess Hall

If you’re sharing on social media, make sure to tag your posts and media with #NEeats and remember: It’s for the kids!
PS: Since the event is out in Brookland, you can take Split. The Washington Jesuit Academy campus is located at 900 Varnum Street, NE (which, btw, is close to Brookland/CUA Metro). Download the Split ride app and register with the code NEEATSDC for two free $10 ride credits! How cool is that?
