How sad is this? The owners of the house on the corner of F St & 4th St SE decorate their corner lot with great enthusiasm each Halloween gifting the rest of us with a spooky delight. And look what happens. Grrrr.
We hope it is soon returned, if it has not been already. But this brings me to an important reminder: it’s the time of year when packages go missing from doorsteps with alarming frequency. Take precautions now so those holiday gifts don’t get stolen before you get home.
Try to arrange to have your packages sent to your office (if allowed) or take advantage of services from UPS My Choice UPS and FedEx Delivery manager to specify your desired delivery time, reroute packages or have packages delivered to the two companies retail locations. You could also consider doing a short-term box rental at the USPS (I STRONGLY recommend using the 45 L St NE location!) or the Mailboxes at 611 Pennsylvania Ave., SE.
