Have you enjoyed meals from some of Washington’s top dining spots during Restaurant Week? Keep the meals from some of the best chefs in DC coming when you take part in the Summer Soiree at the Liaison Capitol Hill’s rooftop pool & lounge on Thursday, August 27. It’s one of those happy hours that makes dinner extraneous, plus you’ll sup well and support the work of the DC Central Kitchen, a local non-profit that reduces hunger with recycled food and trains unemployed adults for culinary careers.
What’s better than a Happy Hour with a cause? For $35, it’s happier than most. You’ll enjoy:
- Bites from Chef Art Smith’s Art and Soul, Captain Cookie, Cava Mezze, Chef Amy Brandwein’s Centrolina, DC Central Kitchen’s culinary class and Mango Tree.
- Signature cocktails from two of DC’s top mixologists, including Copycat Co.’s Devin Gong and Buffalo Bergen’s Gina Chersevani, along with house wine
- Beer and liquor generously donated by Cabose Brewing Company and Catoctin Creek Distilling Company.
- Live DJ entertainment
- And the chance to bid on unique auction items.
