  • After a standoff shut down the 1300 block of East Capitol Street (DCist), parking enforcement ticketed cars for not moving for street cleaning (City Paper, DCist). The tickets were dismissed but this is still one of those “of course that would happen in DC…” moments we have to laugh about.
  • The goats at Congressional Cemetery are getting attention all over, even from the national-level blog, Grist.
  • Eater DC reported in the official opening of Nando’s Pery-Peri in the Boilermaker Shops.
  • The Washington Post noted that while Union Market just lost Border Springs Farm, it did gain Ris Lacoste.
  • While this is not on the Hill, it is relevant reading for anyone following the constant debates about liquor license moratorium proposals: Greater Greater Washington explained by Dupont Circle is looking at phasing out the moratorium.
