I’m fully aware that this weekly column is dominated by weather related posts. At this time of year it’s simply inevitable, as many of us long for the seasons to officially change and the clamor of spring to begin. The buds on the saucer magnolias at Lincoln Park are preparing to pop, there’s riot of forsythia near Safeway, and that wacky cherry tree by Watkins Elementary is already blooming. The nests are ready, so where are the robins? If you catch one, or a particularly glorious tree or yard, please share on the Flickr group.
