And the Winner is… The Hill is Home Pet Photo Contest Champions

This year the competition was tough, but ultimately there were only two top dogs for The Hill is Home’s Halloween pet photo contest.

Our editors’ pick went to Olive “Your Friendly Fragers’ Clerk.” With the Fragers’ uniform, paint pouch and brush, this dog seems ready to help take on your latest home improvement project. And the costume received bonus points for staying true to the neighborhood. For that we award Olive and owner, Alexandra from Capitol Hill, $25 worth of Metro Mutts doggie toys and treats.

Meanwhile, Chauncey the “Wide Retriever” won our readers’ choice award. The costume received the most total votes from any of the 25 entrants in this year’s contest. Chauncey looks ready for football season. The lucky dog and owner, Katie from Rockville, win a $50 giftcard to Metro Mutts.

Congratulations to both our winners, and thank you to all the dogs, cats and pet owners who competed in this year’s contest!

I thought the theme of the Editors’ Pick was Least Like the Species?

Next year I’m definitely getting a t-shirt from a Hill establishment and tailoring it to fit my dog. The Fragers pup has won so many awards and accolades!
