The week is halfway over, The Nats have their first postseason game in DC since 1933, and you have a great excuse to come out for a drink tonight after work (or after the baseball game, if you’re lucky enough to play hooky and go to the game).
Come meet the writers of The Hill is Home TONIGHT from 6-10 p.m. for a happy hour at Lavagna, located at 539 8th Street, S.E. 25 percent of the dining proceeds will go to Pink Jams! to Take a Bite Out of Breast Cancer.
We will be in the upstairs bar where you will be treated to special discounts on wine, cocktails and appetizers. It’s a great chance to meet some of your favorite local bloggers, mingle with neighbors and give to a good cause.
Please RSVP on our event page and share with your friends and neighbors. We hope to see you there!
PINK JAMS! is an outreach and fundraising campaign focusing on educating Washington, DC area residents about the importance of early detection and breast cancer awareness. For the entire month of October, chefs and restaurateurs commit their establishments to helping us in its mission – reaching tens of thousands of men and women in our area.
