At around 11:30 pm on Wednesday night, in the 1300 block of G Street NE, a man was shot after he refused to give up his iPhone to two men. Even though the victim was shot in the face, he is in stable condition.
According to the MPD 1D report, there are two suspects who fit the following description:
- Suspect 1 – Black male; 5’8″ to 5’9″; wearing either a dark blue or black tee shirt.
- Suspect 2 – Same look-out as suspect 1
- One of the suspects had long braids in his hair.
