I bet when you woke up this morning, you didn’t think your day was going to be made exponentially better by my telling you of the possibility of FREE STUFF in the event horizon, did you? For starters, food trucks are near and dear to my heart. They are a vibrant and delicious part of DC street culture (and if you love them too, they need your support), and well…. they are delicious, and I am completely repeating myself. But if you have a food truck giving away free food?
Yeah, I heard those gasps of delight. TOMORROW, Wednesday February 8th from 11am-1pm, the Cajunator food truck will be teaming up with the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board and giving away oyster po’boys and Mardi Gras beads with your red beans and rice or gumbo purchase. Just show up around the Navy Yard Metro area (you lucky DDOT devils, you), and bring a hearty appetite!
