Welcome to another muggy Tuesday morning in the District! We have just a few more days until a long weekend of grilling, relaxing and watching area fireworks displays. Unless you’re Kyra, of course. No matter how you feel about fireworks, there’s sure to be plenty of exciting things to look forward to this weekend. So here’s to a speedy work week so we can get to the fun even faster.

- The Washington Business Journal reported that along with a Harris Teeter at 401 M Street SE, the Capital Riverfront area will be getting a Potbelly Kruba Thai Sushi, Buzz Bakery “an unnamed craft brewery,” Austin Grill Express, brb Burger, and a 24-7 diner.
- Urban Turf, and a whole bunch of other online sources, reported that R Kelly is looking for an apartment on Capitol Hill after a status update on his Facebook account. Turns out it’s a fake account and his reps told the Examiner that he has no plans to live in the district any time soon.
