Immediately after I write this, I’ll be pulling bins of t-shirts, shorts and summery dresses out of my attic. While I’m doing that, I will also come across boxes, piles and bags of things that suffered through the winter but really need a new home. The Capitol Hill Mega, Multi-Block-Wide Yard Sale is Saturday, April 23rd. If the rain continues, then the rain date is next Saturday, April 30th.
Was it cancelled? I’m sitting in the middle on the block right now and I don’t see a thing on this nice sunny afternoon. Lincoln Park was already crowded though, well before 2.
Where was this thing? I was walking all around that neighborhood for hours and I never saw any tag sales anywhere.
Due to weather, the Mega Block-Wide Yard Sale has been postponed until next Saturday, April 30, 2011. Please join us then.
I spent a good portion of the afternoon walking to the neighborhood, and then walking up and down the streets wondering if I had the right neighborhood, and then going down to Lincoln Park for a while and then walking back to the neighborhood just in case I got the time wrong. I wish I knew that it had been cancelled earlier.
We are having our annual clearing out multi-family yard sale this Saturday, April 30th in front of 230 and 222 11th St SE, 9am-2pm.
Items include: kid’s toys and clothes (boy 4-5 and girl 8yr), Household items, books, CDs, DVDs and videos, adult clothes etc….
