Save the Date(s) – Hilloween!

Alexandria? Sure, it’s “nice”, but who wants to cross the river? Embassy Row? Way too much hiking between giant mansions. Georgetown? Meh, nothing there you can’t find pictures of online.

No, hands down, the best place to spend Halloween in DC is on the Hill. We’ll have a much more detailed guide for you in the coming weeks, but for now, take a few moments out of planning your costumes to note that we have some schedule changes.

As Halloween falls on a Sunday, Hilloween has been moved to the Friday before, October 29th. For those new to the area, Hilloween is the mother of all block parties on 7th St by Eastern Market. Moon bounces, hay rides, screaming children, they leave nothing out. Later that night, the good folks on H Street will be hosting Thriller on H ST again this year, so if you haven’t had a sugar crash by then the party will continue. Don’t be fooled by the link, you don’t have to register for the class to come on down to the Auto Zone parking lot on H St to have a great time.

Finally, I’ve been hearing this question a lot, but Trick or Treating will go down on Halloween night, the 31st. Stay tuned here for news on more events on the Hill!
