Have you recovered from all the fun at H Street Festival yet? Well rest up because it’s time to do it all again this Saturday on Barracks Row! From 11 am until 5 pm, 8th Street SE will be closed from E Street to I Street to host a variety of food and art vendors, local organizations, kids activities, tours of the Commandant’s House, music, performances by the Redskin’s Cheerleaders, and the annual Military Chefs Cook-Off. This year’s guest judges for the cook-off include celebrity chef Paul Prudhomme, Food Network star and Granville Moore’s Teddy Folkman, and Dish Network’s Lauren DeSantis.
The Commandant’s House will be closing for renovations after the festival, so if you have never had the chance to tour the inside, this is your chance!
