Time for another look back at what others blogged about our dear neighborhood over the last week:

  • We Love DC‘s regular feature “Where We Live” covered H Street NE, detailing a long history that even this Washingtonian didn’t know.
  • Capital Spice discovered Le Bon Cafe while exploring Capitol Hill lunch options, and found it to be “a flavorful and fresh alternative to some of the other options in the neighborhood.”  Couldn’t agree more!
  • DC Metrocentric posted some devastating pictures of the aftermath of Washington Gas work at Eastern Market – the newly laid cobblestone street already bares the ugly scars and spray painting left behind after utility work.
  • Brightest Young Things got many people very excited with the news that Dangerously Delicious Pies is coming to H Street!  We will hopefully see something in the next 2-3 months on the same block as H Street Country Club.
  • Washingtonian‘s map of Real World sightings is getting some more dots on the east side of the Capitol: after shopping at Eastern Market last weekend, the Real World cast made it back to the Hill for dinner with Spike at Good Stuff, and some drinks at the Pour House.  (We would have tried to get pictures but we choose to run the other way, sorry!)
