Wow, now I know why I often feel driven to drink after standing in long lines at Safeway. The National Capital Brewing Co. had a plant at 14th and D Streets S.E. until Prohibition. At that point the factory was converted to Carry’s Ice Cream.
I wonder if these kids were guilty of late night beer runs? Beer and football, right?
