Jen DeMayo

Jen DeMayo has been a waitress, an actor, a puppeteer and a writer for the Hill Rag. She worked for many years for the Atlas Performing Arts Center which has resulted in her being a relentless H Street booster/Streetcar apologist. She is originally from the New York-New Jersey area and is consequently one of the many who whine endlessly about DC’s lack of good bagels and pizza. She is the mom to two boys who currently attend DCPS (off the Hill.) No matter what she may end up accomplishing in her life, she is sure that her obituary headline will say she was the founder of Moms on the Hill.

Democratic Primary Results

Charles Allen won the Democratic primary for the Ward 6 Council seat, beating Darrell Thompson in a competitive race.  Since this is DC he will almost certainly be the next lucky Councilmember to represent Capitol Hill. He will replace the outgoing Tommy Wells who lost his mayoral bid to Muriel Bowser. Of course this is […]

To Do

So your phone is ringing with calls from candidate and your mailboxes are stuffed with their smiling faces. But it will all be over on Tuesday.  (Don’t forget to write in Krepp! He’s the candidate Congress deserves!) If you want to just hide from the last minute campaigning I have a few suggestions. Tonight bring the kids […]
