I still won’t believe it till I see it, but Mayor Bowser has announced that the Streetcar will start carrying passengers Saturday, February 27.

The Streetcar will be free for “an introductory period” and will run along H Street between Union Station and Benning Road, with 8 stops during the following days and hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 6 am – 12 am
- Friday: 6 am – 2 am
- Saturday: 8 am – 2 am
- Holidays: 8 am – 10 pm
- No Sunday service
The opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27 on 13th Street, NE between H Street, NE and Wylie Street, NE (intersection of 13th/H).
