As the temperatures are on the rise here in DC, one particularly fun way to beat the heat is to pop into a local bar and take part in some pub trivia. Throughout the week the Hill is host to quite a number of pub trivia nights; quizzing its players on everything from politics to pop culture, geography, literature and sports. Drink specials are usually part of the fun, not to mention prizes to those who win the night (and even some to those who lose). Occasionally there are bonus points for those who can come up with a witty team name. Even if there aren’t actual bonus points, quippy names are always appreciated by the rest of us playing.
So, get those brain cells geared up, it’s just possible they might have to remember information about a state capital you haven’t been taught since high school. I give you a comprehensive rundown of where to go throughout the week if you’d like to get your trivia on all over the Hill to test your smarts (and your alcohol tolerance).
Mondays
