With changes in the property rental market it is important that tenants know their rights, learn how to protect their homes, and access new opportunities. On Thursday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m., staff from Housing Counseling Services will hold workshops at the Southeast Public Library to discuss tenant rights and responsibilities, the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act, how to improve building conditions, rent control and other topics.
