IF you’re still in town, you know the drill.  The city has emptied, so get out there and enjoy:

At the Atlas, this is the last weekend of Oscar Wilde’s Salome, a good, old fashioned, provocative Old Testament tale.  Its also the first weekend of a four week run for Rorschach Theater’s Neverwhere.  Based on the cult-classic novel by Neil Galman, here’s a little teaser of what’s in store:  “A wounded girl appears on the London sidewalk in front of Richard Mayhew. Quickly he’s plunged into an underworld where heroes and monsters are real and where death waits in the dark of Night’s Bridge.”

Rock & Roll Hotel is celebrating its 7th birthday this weekend with shows and DJs every night, plus a Sunday screening and Q&A of Journey to the Flames: 11 Years of Burning Man.  Check out their calendar to see the full schedule for each packed night.

Take the whole family out on Saturday night from 6:30-8:30 for a Family Fun Jazz/Hip-Hop Class at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop.  The class is open to adults and children 8+, no experience necessary (perhaps preferable?).  $20 per adult+child, $10 for each additional adult.  To register, call (626) 215-4319 or email Lotus Dance.

Start your Sunday at Union Market.  Good Food Award-Winning vendors will be at the market alongside the regular vendors.  Get a taste of these unique offerings from 11am-3pm (or get a VIP ticket and start the nosh at 10a).  Just looking at the list of vendors is making me hungry!

If you’re in the mood for something a little more fancy for your Sunday night, get your tickets now for Union Market’s annual Sunday Supper. For $200, you’ll be feted by eight local chefs, each preparing a course.  Participating chefs come from spots like Ripple, The Red Hen, DGS and Daikaya.
