Sweet Lobby Celebrates Two Years with Giveaways

Barracks Row just got a little bit sweeter this week.

The Sweet Lobby, a Capitol Hill favorite for macaroons, madeleines, and all things sugar, is hosting special giveaways this week to celebrate two years  of being open on the Hill. Each day, there’s a new free treat.

Our friends at Borderstan report that The Sweet Lobby is in day three of their giveaways. Today, the shop is passing out a DC favorite — the ubiquitous cupcake. And, if you can’t make it there today, the shop has free madeleines on Thursday and free macaroons on Friday.

So what’s the catch? Well, first you need to like them on Facebook, then go and pick-up one of their anniversary cards. Stamp your card at the shop and receive a free treat.  It’s that simple.

Go get in line (we’re assuming there will be a line) and while you’re there, congratulate The Sweet Lobby on two years. It seems like just yesterday that we were writing and savoring our first bite at the shop.
