It’s Summer Restaurant Week Time!

Why hello there dear reader. I have something important to discuss, so I assume you won’t mind if I ask you two personal questions first. First off, do you like to eat at restaurants? If not, I’m ashamed to know you. Second question, do you wish that eating at restaurants didn’t cost so much? If no, why don’t you take this opportunity to go for a swim in your money vault. The rest of us will wait.

Ok, now that it’s just us cheapos, the important news is that Summer DC Restaurant Week is upon us! From August 16 to 22 more than 200 restaurants around town will be offering great deals to people who like to eat at restaurants and still afford gas to drive (or cab or Metro) home. As part of our ongoing public service efforts, we at The Hill is Home have done the difficult and dangerous work of finding out which Capitol Hill restaurants are participating in this summer’s restaurant week. You’ll find the list below. Most take online reservations through Open Table, but you’ll need to call to make reservations at a few. Sadly we can’t make it to every Hill restaurant in just seven days (well, at least not until we have our own money vault), so let us know what you think about any restaurants you make it to. And if you happen to dine at some place that isn’t offering a deal, ask them why not (and then let us know that too).

Summer DC Restaurant Week is presented by Destination DC and the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. See the full list at the Destination DC Restaurant Week site and make reservations online at Open Table.
