Are you concerned about the two recent shootings in broad daylight in Hill East and the most recent one at Potomac Gardens, where a 16-year old girl lost her life? Today, Monday, November 28th, please plan on attending a meeting starting at 7:30pm at St. Coletta of Greater Washington, 1901 Independence Ave, SE. Organizer and ANC commissioner Denise Krepp is the organizer of the meeting. She hopes to address the surge in violent crime in the eastern part of the neighborhood, as well as inform the community and the businesses and local law enforcement so that all together, it can be possible to take steps in preventing an atmosphere that leads to crime.
