Don’t forget your pet when shopping for gifts for your loved one! After all, the unconditional love of your dog or cat is one of the greatest joys of your day. Well, I guess it’s conditional on your keeping them fed and comfortable…but still, we love to spoil our pets. And local Capitol Hill stores help you do it in style!
We have two fabulous pet stores on the Hill that can help you with pretty much all of your shopping needs: Howl to the Chief at 733 8th Street SE, and Metro Mutts, which has locations at 508 H Street NE and 407 8th Street SE. Unleashed by Petco is also now in the neighborhood, by the Navy Yard.
Hill’s Kitchen at 713 D Street SE also has you more than covered with cute gifts for your friend who loves dogs or cats. From dish-towels to cookie cutters to paw print pastas, you are sure to find something great.
