Hill's Eye View: For Your Pickling Pleasure

The crowds were bountiful at the Barracks Row Fall Festival on Saturday, but the food stole the show. Especially tempting were the offerings made by DC State Fair competitors– treats of all kinds, from honey to jams and jellies to home-brewed beer. And my favorite, pickles — oops, make that fermented vegetables.
