Jen DeMayo

Jen DeMayo has been a waitress, an actor, a puppeteer and a writer for the Hill Rag. She worked for many years for the Atlas Performing Arts Center which has resulted in her being a relentless H Street booster/Streetcar apologist. She is originally from the New York-New Jersey area and is consequently one of the many who whine endlessly about DC’s lack of good bagels and pizza. She is the mom to two boys who currently attend DCPS (off the Hill.) No matter what she may end up accomplishing in her life, she is sure that her obituary headline will say she was the founder of Moms on the Hill.

This is DC and you just never know […]

Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival deal on Amazon/Living Social

Today’s deal for Living Social/Amazon is for tickets to the upcoming INTERSECTIONS: A New America Arts Festival at the Atlas. I have no idea when this weird alliance was struck between Amazon and Living Social, I just know it is one more email in my inbox each morning. But a deal is a deal and this one […]

Monday Morning Circle Time

Good morning everyone! Hope the weekend treated you kindly if not all that warmly. Despite only being two-days long the weekend seemed to have something for everyone. Well anyone who cares about football and/or politics. The years-long reality show known as the Republican primary was extended with Newt’s victory so that’s fun for those of us who […]
