This Thursday, the American Legion Post #8 at 224 D Street, SE, will be filled to the brim with the Hill’s do-it-yourselfers in support of the still un(der)employed staff of Frager’s. (That includes the not-so-handy among us, too, who relied on said employees to steer us in the right direction and give us great advice.) Although the pop-up and rental stores are open at other locations, many of the Frager’s staff are still out of work and need help.
The fun starts at 3:30pm with hot dogs, balloons and activities for the kids, and music starts at 6pm with local Hill acts The Captones, Side Dish,
The event is sponsored by the team at Prudential PenFed Realty, and realtors John Smith and Peter Grimm will match all ticket sales (donations at the door). 100% of donations will go to support those affected by the Frager’s fire.
