File this under things that could be an April Fools’ joke, or might actually turn out to be true.
After waiting months without any official word from the folks at Park Tavern, today, it looks like management says the restaurant will be open “sooner than soon.” Earlier this morning the Park Tavern tweeted:
What the heck does that actually mean for business hours? It may mean you can grab a drink before or after today’s game. If you’re down at the ballpark and happen to stop-by Park Tavern, let us know if it’s open for business and tell us about the food and drink.
Last week, Park Tavern announced their executive chef and draft menu on Facebook, but other than that, news has been hard to come-by. Owner Xavier Cervera did not return calls when asked about the opening date.
Noon update: An hour before game time and Park Tavern remains closed.
