This past Saturday at the Atlas Intersections Festival, my daughter and I met a young orphan whose magical trunk brought her to new experiences; a young man who tried so hard to do what his mother told him; a pig who schooled a terrible fox; and a crow who would be forever changed by the girl he met in the forest.
The award-winning musical Sing Down the Moon: Appalachian Wonder Tales, captivated my daughter and managed to keep me thoroughly entertained as well, despite the Appalachian accents.
So whether your family includes a budding princess whose dress is the color of the fish in the sea, or an omnivorous architect set to build a house out of steel instead of sticks, I highly recommend you bring them to this show.
Captivate your children. Performances continue through March 9th in the Sprenger Theatre at the Atlas.
