I’m pretty sure that I don’t know what qualifies as “good” food. Yeah, I insist that I know what makes for a good sandwich or hot dog, but at the end of the day, I still head to Alberto’s for dinner, where the staff knows my name and there is never a wait for a table. (Could there be a reason why?)
Lucky for me (and I would assume others), Tom Sietsema tells me what passes for good food in the District and her suburbs. This year, two Capitol Hill restaurants — Ethiopic (401 H Street NE) and Seventh Hill Pizza (327 7th Street SE) made it into Sietsema’s Fall Dining Guide, a list of his best bets for fine dining — or, at the very least, good food — on the Hill and beyond.
And while two of the Hill’s best restaurants made the list, there are many other great places on the Hill that were left out. Which restaurant do you think should have been included in the guide?
