Longtime Hill resident and historian Robert Pohl shared these photos of today’s activities.
Pohl remarked he was “extremely pleased” with the results of the renovation. “After the ribbon-cutting, done by some of the many kids who were present, we were invited inside. They have truly made a place that is a jewel for the neighborhood. I’m looking forward to next week, when I can have a quiet crabcake sandwich there,” he said. “And, beyond the pictures, I have a great memento. I managed to untie and pocket the remains of the ribbon that had been cut just a few minutes earlier.”
