So much going on so let’s get to it.

Tonight Ruben Casteneda is talking about S Street Rising, his memoir of living the drug life while reporting on it for the Washington Post at the Northeast Library 330 7th St NE at 7 pm.

Friday bring the wee ones to the Atlas for the latest installment in the Theatre for the Very Young Series. Arts on the Horizon presents Point A to Point B, a story about all the ways we get around. This two character, non verbal play is perfect for those kiddos ages 2-5 who are brand new to theatre. The show runs all weekend and tickets are $9 and are available here.

Saturday is the Barracks Row Culinary Education Crawl. There are still plenty of opportunities to improve your culinary skills but classes are filling up quickly so act fast. A full listing of classes can be found here.

The Fridge (516 1/2 8th Street, SE) presents Washington based artist DECOY in an exhibition called Sew Rad embraces the artist’s quilting origins while putting an eye toward new, narrative style. The free opening reception is from 7pm to 10pm and the exhibit will be on display until December 6th.

The Congressional Chorus presents Living, Laughing, Loving: Celebrating the Circle of Life Through Song, Dance and Poetry. The chorus will be joined by other local groups such as Joy of Motion Dance Center, the AMerican Youth Chorus, the Northeast Senior Singers, Afromoda DanceTheatre, and Capital Movement for an multi-sensory performance that celebrates the emotions and the seasons of life. The concert is at 7:30 at Church Of The Epiphany, 1317 G St., NW. Tickets are $33 and they are available here.

The Gay Men’s Chorus presents The S* Show at the Atlas. The evening honors Sondheim. Sinatra. Streisand. Performances are at 5pm and 8pm. Watch a preview here and then get tickets here.

Sunday is a Pay what You Can performance of Shakespeare’s Pericles at the Folger Theatre. This work explores the story of Pericles, Prince of Tyre, as he sets sail on an extraordinary journey through the decades and is blown from the coasts of Phoenicia to Greece and to Turkey. Tickets are available beginning at 5pm at the box office window. Cash only.

The Congressional Cemetery hosts another Notes from the Crypt concert at 4pm in the Chapel. The concert is free and a wine and cheese reception will follow.
