Are you a stay-at-home mom of a preschooler who could really use an excuse to put on a little extra makeup and have a break? Or maybe you are a working mom, looking for some fellow-mom camaraderie? Maybe you’re just getting started on the motherhood journey, whether pregnant or in the process of adopting a child, and you’re seeking like-minded individuals for friendship and support? The Waterfront Church is starting a group called MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers), and you and your children are invited, as childcare is provided.
When: This Tuesday, October 6, and every 1st Tuesday of the month, 7:30-9:00PM
Where: Courtyard Marriott (Capitol Hill/Navy Yard), 140 L Street SE, 2nd Floor, Washington, DC, 20003
How much: Annual $50 registration, or $25 if there is no need for childcare.
Why: Because it takes a village, you guys.
