Hey you! Want to eat for free at Chupacabra Taqueria? Then sign up for their amateur food-eating contest at H Street Festival! Eat as much as you can in 8 minutes, our of a truly palate-dazzling array of possibilities: a Cubano pork sandwich, a Venezuelan arepa and eight tacos of your choice. You can shimmy them down Joey Chestnut style, dunking and guzzling Kobayashi style or maybe you just want to stand and nod them down, Black Widow style. Actually, don’t watch any of those videos because you may not have any appetite left and you will need it for THE AMATEUR LATIN EATING CHALLENGE!!!!!

What: THE AMATEUR LATIN EATING CHALLENGE!!!!
Where: The H Street Festival Fashion Stage at 10th Street NE
When: Saturday September 19, 2015, starting at 1:30 p.m. (but you should probably arrive a little earlier)
Why: Because you have a hollow leg and appreciate the finer things in life. You’re also starving –for fame and glory, that is!
First prize gets a $150 gift certificate as well as a trophy. Second prize gets a $75 gift certificate; third prize gets a $25 gift certificate. All participants get cool swag.
