Transformer – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Transformer opens the first of four artists in their E12: Social Practice series. Artist Amy Hughes Braden’s work will be the first to be featured. For more information, click here.

Friday, July 24

DC Arts Studios – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Join DC Arts Studios for a pop-up art exhibition at the Coupe featuring 13 of their member artists. For more information and to RSVP, click here.

Working Man Collective – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Working Man Collective will present their final SATELLITE public event with a video projection piece compiling the work of several participating artists. For details, click here.

Anacostia Community Museum – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Jeffrey McClurken leads a discussion on the narrative evolution of the Civil War in popular films. McClurken will discuss the cinematic narrative of the Civil War in the following films: Gone with the Wind, Birth of a Nation, Glory, and Lincoln. For more details, click here.
