Oh, are you are also not going to your beach house this weekend? Me either! How shall we console ourselves?

Tonight: Do you like to wear bikinis or look at people wearing bikinis? This event is for you! Penthouse Pool & Lounge @ The Yards will host a Dar Be Dar by Tala Raassi summer fashion show. Raassi will showcase her latest 2015 Spring/Summer swimsuit collection with a live show in the Penthouse Pool and Lounge at the Yards at 1212 4th Street SE. This event is free and open to the public. From 7pm to 9pm guests can enjoy DeLeón Tequila cocktail specials, a live fashion show, 360 degree views of the Nation’s Capital, and of course the chance to purchase Raassi’s summer togs. Remember! Every body is a bikini body!

Bring your new bikini over to Mr. Henry’s for a Happy Hour from 5pm to 8pm benefiting Capitol Hill Group Ministries. Now is your chance to check out newly renovated Henry’s Upstairs for a Happy Hour with free appetizers, and enjoy Mr. Henry’s weekly live Bluegrass performance directly afterwards. 

Christmas in July gets a weirdo H Street spin on it Friday night as Little Miss Whiskey’s hosts a Krampus Tiki party  Expect leis and tiki drinks along with limbo contests and door prizes. There is a $5 suggested donation but more is always welcome. Proceeds from this and the traditional December Krampusnacht benefit Santa’s Cause DC which provides books and other educational items to DC kids.

Saturday DC Scoop returns to Union Market. 15 local creameries will provide tastes of their cool concoctions and there will be larger portions available for purchase. The event is from 1pm to 4pm and will be held in the climate controlled upstairs venue of the market known as Dock 5.

Saturday night head to Gallery O/H for some reggae by Lucky Dub. The music begins at 9pm after the performance of the Capital Fringe show Half Past What at 8pm.

Sunday is the final day of Trusty’s 10th anniversary celebration. Yes, Hill East’s favorite dive bar has been around for a decade. and yes you are old. They have been celebrating with food and drink specials all week and ten percent of the week’s proceeds will benefit Jan’s Tutoring House. These guys!
