We want to extend our deepest condolences to the AtlasVet family: one of their veterinarians, Dr. Keith de la Cruz, passed away earlier this week. He was a resident of Northern Virginia and the secretary-treasurer of the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association. He was also a beloved vet at the H Street practice for the past 3 years, who had a wonderful way with animals.

In researching this post, I came across a heartfelt tribute from Patrick Eddington, whose appreciation for Dr. de la Cruz went beyond a professional relationship. He writes: “He wasn’t simply the vet who cared for my dogs. He was my friend.”
