Volunteer Capitol Hill! Volunteer Fair This Saturday

Volunteer-300x204We all get so much from this great community. Why not give back a bit too? After all, that’s part of what makes Capitol Hill so great. So stop by the Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, this Saturday May 2 from 10:00 am until 1 pm and learn about the MANY groups you can volunteer with. Pick up some information packets, talk to other volunteers, and find the group that is the right fit for you.

The volunteer fair showcases a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer services, featuring 35 non-profit organizations that need assistance. Whether you are looking to make a difference in the community, develop new job skills, make new friends, or spend quality time with family, Volunteer Capitol Hill 2015 offers opportunities to match your availability, skills, and interests with an organization. This is a great opportunity for youth with service requirements for school as well.  Participating organizations are listed at the bottom of the page.

Volunteer Capitol Hill celebrates the extraordinary contributions made by Nicky and Steve Cymrot over a period of forty years to the Capitol Hill community and, in particular, their vision and leadership in the creation of Hill Center.
