Tonight, support Capitol Hill Arts Workshop’as they kick off their two month-long Paint Bucket campaign AND eat well at Lavangna. Eat at the Barracks Row restaurant at for happy hour or dinner and 25% of the proceeds will be donated to the Paint Bucket Campaign. The beloved neighborhood favorite aims to raise $65,000 in 65 days and as they say on NPR, “every little bit helps.”
Friday, Goldie Patrick returns to the Atlas with Feminine Folklore, a piece featuring five women of diverse lifestyles, backgrounds and perspectives as they examine, critique, and share all they have learned and never learned about the “birds and the bees.” The performance begins at 8pm and tickets are $20.
Saturday, JO Wilson Elementary School at (660 K Street NE) hosts their 3rd Annual Spring Community Carnival & Flea Market from 10am – 3pm. The event is a combination jumbo yard sale, artisan market and carnival! Look for live music, food, and tons of activities for kids.
Monday – Granville Moore’s Mad Fox Beer Dinner Granville Moore’s is teaming up with fellow RAMMY nominee Mad Fox Brewing Company for a 4-Course Pairing Dinner. Space is extremely limited for this special evening. Price is $45 per person Reservations are required.
