But why are we throwing a party? We want to celebrate Arbor Day and get people thinking more about trees. It’s also a great time to fête a few amazing people doing awesome things to re-tree D.C.
Tickets are all-inclusive, which means food and drink are for the taking. Three bands will also be taking the stage — The Sweater Set, The Lawsuits and Joy Classic. Oh, and local fave Kojo Nnamdi is our special guest emcee.
We’re transforming Dock5 into the summer camp of your childhood dreams (no bug spray required), so expect some canteen-inspired chow, to pull your beers out of canoes and games and activities that might net you a badge — or even a friendship bracelet.
So come on, let’s get campy under the canopy together.
