Fatty Sundays Pop Up at Union Market

DSC_0022Salty and sweet – it’s one of the best flavor combinations there is. Which is why I am always a sucker for chocolate covered pretzels. This weekend and next, we can all get our fix at the Fatty Sundays pop up at Union Market.

Fatty Sundays, based in Brooklyn, NY, was started by sisters Ali and Lauren Borowick, who clearly have a passion for one of my favorite treats. They were inspired by their mother’s sweets and a family tradition of Sunday indulgences. Products range from classic chocolate-dipped to birthday cake, spicy almond, salty toffee and more.

At the pop up, you can also try making your own to sample with a range of toppings and colored sprinkles. Because everything tastes better with colored sprinkles. Or buy a small or large box as a gift for a friend or for yourself. Or both.

If you like what you try, you can buy boxes at the store, a DIY kit to take home (great for kids or a Valentine’s Day gift) or shop online.

DSC_0021Fatty Sundays also personalizes their products for events like birthday parties, weddings and more. The sister’s have even partnered with noted companies including Kate Spade, MTV and Warby Parker, amongst many others.

You can check out Fatty Sundays for yourself at Union Market on February 5, 6, 7 and 8 from 11 am to 8 pm and on February 13, 14 and 15 from 11 am to 8 pm
