Tonight NPR Queen Susan Stamberg brings her yearly radio show Hanukkah Lights to life at the Hill Center. She will be joined by Murray Horowitz, NPR’s former  Vice President of Cultural Programming and together they share stories of the eight days of light. The event begins at 7pm and is free. Register here.

Make a new furry friend tonight at the Rock and Roll Hotel‘s pop up Cat Cafe. The Washington Humane Society is bringing adoptable kitties to the H Street music hall. There will be prizes to win as well as merch for sale. The Hotel is donating 15% of all sales to the Humane Society.

Friday night is Capitol Hill Arts Workshop’s bi-monthly Working from the Figure session. Artist Will Fleishell will be on hand to offer advice as you draw or paint the form of the live model. Session is $20 and more information is available here.

Go caroling on H Street with your neighbors! The revelers are meeting up at the Argonaut at 6pm and will sing their way down the street and back to the Argo for food and drink specials. Some nerd made a Facebook event if you want to check it out.
