Don’t you just love the Car Barn? In case you are not familiar with it, it’s a very cool condo development on East Capitol Street between 14th and 15th streets. The Car Barn was created from an old turn-of-the-century garage where the streetcars were stored. It retains a lot of the original character and each unit is different. It also has a very nice swimming pool for residents, located in the center of the courtyard.
I really like the 2-bedrooms there in particular. They live like a townhouse and typically sell in the 520–55ok range. Where else on Capitol Hill can you still buy a 2 BR 2.5 BA townhouse in this price range? (HINT: fuggedaboutit!)
