Dog Wash Fundraiser This Weekend at Howl to the Chief

When the cold weather sets in, your outdoor hose becomes less ideal for washing the dog after he’s been rolling in the grass at the park. If you’re like me, and you hate trying to wrestle him into your bathtub (and hate cleaning up the bathroom after even more), so paying $15 to wash him in one of the tubs at a local dog wash is well worth the money.

This Saturday, put that $15 to a great cause while someone else gives your pup a pre-holiday bath. From 10am-4pm, bring your dog to Howl to the Chief and volunteers from Rural Dog Rescue will clean your dog in an effort to raise money to save homeless dogs.

Your $15 tax deductible donation gets your pooch a bath and towel dry, with all proceeds going to Rural Dog Rescue, a local nonprofit whose mission is to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in rural areas with euthanasia rates of 80% or higher.

Howl To The Chief is located at 733 8th Street, SE.
