It’s hard to believe but Dawn Price Baby opened its first location 10 years ago on the Hill! To celebrate, they will be opening their doors for extended hours on November 15 from 10am-7pm with raffles, face painting, ice cream and more. They are also marking down all in-stock items by 20% and giving gift bags to the first 50 VIP visitors at each of their four locations.
Want extra chances at the raffle? Bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots or diapers for DC Diaper Bank to receive extra raffle tickets!
And that’s not all: Dawn Price Baby has just expanded its toy selection for older kids, stocking a great selection of activities for boys and girls. They are putting a particular focus on STEM-inspired toys to help encourage a new generation of scientists and engineers, as owner Dawn Price explained to NBC 4 this week.
Stop by this Saturday for their first Toy Day from 10am-7pm so you and the kids can get a chance to play with the new merchandise – which I think will be as much a hit with grownups as it is with kids.
Dawn Price Baby is also starting a Wish List Clip Board, just in time for the holidays, so kids can start lists of the toys they’d want as gifts. Family and friends can contact the store for the list and to place a gift order, which can be wrapped and shipped for a $5 flat fee.
Congratulations on 10 years in the neighborhood, Dawn Price Baby!
