Yup. It’s finally here. Next Tuesday, Bluejacket opens on the Southeast Waterfront, says Tim Carman at The Washington Post.

There has been a lot of anticipation for this all-in-one restaurant, bar, and brewery. Earlier this summer, I got a taste of a few of the beers made by brewmaster Megan Parisi. What you can expect on opening day: 20 beers and five cask brews. And, think Belgium while you’re drinking. Many of these beers are Belgian-influenced and some beers are brewed in rare (at least stateside) processes.

Brewing takes place just above where diners will eat and drink. All together there is more than 12,000 sq. feet of space. Not too shabby considering the building’s height helps make the space feel even more massive. And, be on the lookout for brewery tours and tastings. You won’t want to miss a chance to see and sample Bluejacket’s sour and barrel-aged beers.

Oh, and maybe you want to make a reservation. Looks like their website will be accepting them soon.
