Editor’s note: Originally Rose’s Luxury said they would be open for business on Tuesday, Oct. 1st, but the opening date is now pushed back to Wednesday, Oct. 2nd.
There has been a lot of build-up and taste-testing for Aaron Silverman’s new restaurant, Rose’s Luxury. And now, the wait is finally over. The Barracks Row restaurant announced this week that they passed final inspection and will open next Wednesday.
It’s possible that some of you may already know what to expect. Earlier this year, Silverman held a brief stint inside the kitchen at Hogo, and he has hosted a few pop-up dinners, including some at his Capitol Hill home.
Silverman has quite a track record too. He’s worked at David Chang’s Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York and Sean Brock’s McCrady’s in Charleston. Now, thanks in part to some help from a Kickstarter-funded campaign, he’s ready to unleash his a-la-carte menu on Capitol Hill.
From the looks of it, the dining room looks just about ready for the dinner-crowd rush.
