Did you know today is National Pie Day?
Even better, the folks at Dangerously Delicious Pies on H Street are offering a 20 percent discount on all pies today. Also, from 5 p.m. to midnight, the shop is hosting a “Date Night” special: two slices of savory and sweet pie and two drinks for $20.
Other pie destinations on the Hill, include Ted’s Bulletin. Order the lemon meringue pie, but warning, this thing is seriously thick and coma-inducing. There’s also pies to-go at the Fine Sweet Shop inside Eastern Market.
