Warm Your Bones at Dead Man's Run

Sign up…if you dare!

October is here which means you can break out the Halloween candy and dress up your pet without embarrassment. But before you sit down in front of that plastic pumpkin full of sugar, why not get a little exercise?

The second annual Dead Man’s Run at Congressional Cemetery is this Saturday (Oct 6) from 6-8p. This year’s 5k race is a twilight run, making it all the more spooky. The running course will take you on a path through the historic cemetery grounds and past two hundred-year old monuments. All proceeds go towards the restoration and preservation of the cemetery.

The Hill is Home will be  in attendance! We have several writers who are running and will also be staffing the refreshment table. The race fee is $40 per adult and the kids fun run is $10. Click here to register and more information on race packet pick-up is below.

If you have pre-registered, you can pick up your race packet from 10am-2pm on race day, Saturday October 6th, at the Pacers Pop-up Store at Tabula Rasa on Barrack’s Row, 731 8th Street SE.  Packets will also be available at the Cemetery starting at 4:30pm on race day.

On-site race registration will also be avilable starting at 4:30pm on Race Day.
